Joan M. Prasse, DVM, is a summa cum laude graduate of Marshall University and the Ohio State University College of
Veterinary Medicine. A licensed and accredited veterinarian since 1981, Dr. Prasse was founder and past president of Advanced Veterinary
Services, PSC, a 5 doctor / 3 hospital mixed practice with locations in
Kentucky and Ohio. Along with general practice, Dr. Prasse has frequently
been involved with various research projects in conjunction with the
Ohio State University, Marshall University, Idexx Laboratories, and
Hartz Mountain. Since 1996, Dr. Prasse has run a consulting service for
veterinarians seeking assistance with hospital design and practice
management.
