At 5 minutes til midnight on
3/30/11, "Royal Crest's Rockette" gave birth to a beautiful
chestnut filly. The proud sire is "Kabuki", making this a full
sister to "Paradocs Whatzapnin'?" and "Paradocs Korygami". The
name of our friendly new filly is "Kette'N'Kaboodle". We expect
great things from her, but in the meantime she's just delightful
to have around! 2010 North Carolina State Championship
Horse Show..."Paradocs Kaboosh" once again took Raleigh by a
storm! With Trey leading, "Luci" was named Carolinas Amateur
Yearling Futurity Champion!
Two weeks later, at ASHAV in Lexington, "Paradocs
Kaboosh" placed 5th in the Open Yearling Futurity, making her our
highest-earning horse ever, in just 2 seasons! Other ASHAV
highlights: "Paradocs Swoosh", coming off maternity leave, with
Joan aboard, placed third in Adult 3-Gaited Country Pleasure and
5th in Va-Owned Country Pleasure.
"Paradocs Whatzapnin'?" and Shauna had a
busy show. They placed third in both the qualifier and
Championship for ASB Hunter Pleasure. They placed in the top 8 in
Shatner Western and both Open Western classes. "Zap" and Joan
placed 7th in the Ladies Western Championship class.
"Oh Heavenly Moment" and Joan placed 5th
in Adult Five-Gaited Pleasure. Notice Mom has gotten to ride in
lots of shows this season? Many thanks to Trey and Shauna for
being wonderful grooms and supporters...and Mom still loves to
watch them show!!
Rhienlan- Pfalz-Saar, International Inspection Paradocs Farm,

Paradocs Farm hosted an inspection for Rhienlan-Pfalz-Saar,
International on Wednesday, August 4, 2010. Warmblood prospects
from Virginia and Maryland were judged and scored on their
conformation and movement, to see which animals were good enough
to be accepted into the R.P.S.I. registry.
One mare, "Josh’s Slew ",belonging to Carolyn and Jim Miller of
Greenstone Farm, LLC., Culpeper, VA, was admitted to the Premium
Mare Book , a difficult achievement.
There were four foals rated Premium Gold: "Savitar", a pinto
colt belonging to Jennifer Yamnicky of Remembrance Farm, Waldorf ,
MD, and three fillies from Greenstone Farm, "Starburst GSF" ,
"Saffron GSF", and " Over The Top GSF". "Over The Top GSF" was the
highest scoring foal at the inspection, scoring 8.2 in both
conformation and movement.
Four other foals were rated "Premium Silver" and a total of ten
animals were accepted for registration into the books of R.P.
Bonnie Blue National Horse Show, Lexington, VA, May 12 - 15,
2010:
"Paradocs Whatzapnin'?" and Shauna placed 8th in 3-gaited
Country Pleasure, then 2nd in the ASB Hunter qualifying class and
were RESERVE CHAMPION ASB COUNTRY HUNTER! Shauna and "Zap" were
second in the ASB Western Pleasure class, while "Zap" and Joan
were second in the William Shatner Western Pleasure class.
"Oh Heavenly Moment" and Trey placed 5th in Novice Five Gaited,
then were 4th in the Adult Amateur Five Gaited Championship.
Summerduck Run Horse Show, Culpeper, VA., Shauna and "The Diva"
placed second in Green Hunter Over Fences.
AHFS Horse Show 7/18/10: "Laughing Lay-Up" and Charlotte Hoberg
were Low Hunter Champions. Charlotte and "Leia" were also second
in Equitation on the Flat. "Hawkhill's Broadway Smash" and Shauna
won the Low Hunter Under Saddle class and were Reserve Champions.
"Twice the Sass" won a 5th and 6th place in Novice Hunter.
Rockbridge Regional Horse Show, Lexington, VA, July 23-24,
2010: In spite of the near-100 degree temperatures, Paradocs Farm
had a great showing at Rockbridge Regional!
"The Diva" and Shauna placed third in both the Hunter
Qualifying class and the Hunter Pleasure Championship.
"Oh Heavenly Moment" and Joan qualified with a 5th place on
Friday night, then on Saturday, with Trey riding, won the Five
Gaited Pleasure CHAMPIONSHIP!
"Paradocs Whatzapnin'?" and Shauna qualified Friday night with
a 3rd place in ASB Hunter and 2nd in ASB Western. Saturday night
they placed third in the ASB Western Championship and were named
ASB Country Hunter CHAMPION!
AHFS Horse Show 8/15/10: "Twice the Sass" and Shauna were
CHAMPIONS in the Novice Hunter division!
Northern District Qualifying Show 5/2/09, Palmyra, VA. New pair
Hannah Brown and "Laughing Lay-Up" placed 4th in Large Pony/Junior
rider Go As You Please pleasure, then were second in Large Pony
Equitation. With "Cristable", Hannah placed First in Pleasure
Horse Equitation, then was Champion in the Pleasure Horse/ Junior
rider division.
Charlotte Hoberg qualified "Bailarina del Cielo" with a blue
danish, then 4th place overall in Senior Horse Halter Showmanship.
Charlotte and "Paradocs Patriot" were Reserve Champion in Senior
Pony Halter Showmanship, then Reserve Champion in Medium/Small
Pony over fences. Charlotte was Pony Equitation Over Fences
Champion aboard Patriot.
Christopher Prasse qualified "The Diva" and "Told Ya So" at an
over-fences hunter clinic in April.
July 11, 2009, at Commonwealth Park, Shauna Prasse and "The
Diva" competed in the HITS series. In the Adult Maiden Equitation
division, the talented pair won blues in every class (3 over -
fences, 1 under-saddle) for the division Championship.
July 22 - 25, 2009, Joan and Trey headed for Bluefield, WV, for
the Blue & Gray Horse Show. "Paradocs Kaboosh", at age 3 months,
was Reserve Champion Weanling in the WV Futurity.
"Oh Heavenly Moment" and Trey were second in Amateur
Five-gaited and 4th in Novice Five-gaited.
"Paradocs Whatzapnin'?" and Joan WON the William Shatner
Western Pleasure class and qualified for the finals in Kansas
City. They also won the Open Western Pleasure class, then were
Reserve Champion in the Western Championship class!
North Carolina State Championship Horse Show, 9/16/09, "Paradocs
Kaboosh" and Trey won the Carolinas Futurity Amateur Weanling
class!
At the State Championship Horse and Pony Show September 17-20,
2009, in Lexington, VA, Hannah Brown and "Cristable" placed 4th
and 6th in two classes of Hunter Pleasure Horse, and were 5th in
Equitation on the Flat. Charlotte Hoberg and "Paradocs Patriot"
were Reserve in both Medium Pony Over Fences courses, then placed
3rd in Pony Equitation Over Fences. Christopher Prasse and "Told
Ya So" placed 9th and Reserve in Hunter Over Fences @ 3'. Most
importantly, all club members received blue ribbons for Stable
Management! Congratulations to the Bit'n'Bridle Club members on a
job well done!
September 22nd - 26th we returned to Lexington for the ASHAV
Horse Show. "Oh Heavenly Moment" and Trey were 4th in the Novice
Five-gaited Class, then 3rd in the Junior Five-gaited class.
"Paradocs Whatzapnin'?" and Joan were fourth in both the ASB
Hunter Qualifying and Hunter Championship Classes. She and "Zap"
were 5th in the Western Pleasure Qualifying class, then Shauna
arrived from Tech in time to show in the Western Pleasure
Championship class, where they finished 6th.
Led by Trey, "Paradocs Kaboosh" was 5th in the ASHAV Open
Weanling Futurity, making her our all-time highest-earning
Weanling! |
